I was born in New Zealand, I'm originally from Canterbury but later in life I moved to the Tasman region where I fell in love with the natural beauty in the region as seen in locations such as Te Waikoropupu Springs, Lake Rotoiti and Abel Tasman National Park. Due to this interest in the local environment I initially leaned towards landscape photography but I have now branched out to other genres such as pet photography and portrait photography.

I first took an interest in photography when my daughter started to study it in school, she would ask me to bring her along on adventures to capture interesting locations and soon after it clicked for me too and I began to join in with her. Before long I began to study it too and ever since I've been refining my skills and learning everything I can to capture photos that are artistic and do justice to the subject matter.

Over the past few years I've participated in many photoshoots for clients, the nature of these have been widely varied and have been pushing me to new and exciting limits.
